Just aerated greens yesterday. With the rain my putts were terrible. Beautiful setting, and great first time golf game for my two kids.
Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the UP. The course is tucked back in the woods and is in PRIME condition for mid August. Greens were rolling great and receptive. Flat tee boxes, tight fairways, thick rough… what more could you ask for from a 9-hole course up north. The shop had a good selection and dude behind the counter was very friendly. Highly recommended.
Love this corse been here since a kid
Hiawatha Sportsman's Club is an excellent course to golf for players of all skill levels. The fairways are pristine and I don't think there was a burnt blade of grass to be seen anywhere on the course. The greens all seemed to be exceptionally slow. Visually it is a beautiful course to take in and I would recommend it to anyone whether you're a daily golfer or a first timer. The pace of play is fast and the price for 9 and a cart is only $25 which is a very reasonable price for the quality of the course. Get out and golf Hiawatha Sportsman's Club, you will not be disappointed.
