Great historic course. Note that the Old Course has a separate starter area for checking in, but you should still check out the main clubhouse as with any course, especially with the history and info there. Excellent conditions. It was December so it was very chilly and windy, and they had us use turf mats. The bunkers are extremely unforgiving and there are lots of blind tee shots. Some greens are two-sided (with numbered flags), and some fairways are in-bounds of two holes.

First few holes are a bit intense with out of bounds, on the old course on the right hand side. Especially with wind blowing that way.
