Good relaxed course would recommend

Even on a weekday expect to wait up to half an hour to tee off. Pace of play very slow due to no bookings and everyone wanting to play solo or in duos. The course gets waterlogged very easily, so often you’ll be playing in either mud or no grass at all when it’s dry, since they don’t seem to water the fairways between rain. Other than these things the course layout is fun with heaps of water but not overly hard and having 27 holes adds variety.

Can’t beat ‘Royal’ Birkdale for value! Quality greens and my fave place to play!

Great course for $25 a round. Greens in good condition just a little slow. Will definitely play again.
