Slow pace of play. Tight fairways mean most players (typically weekend hacks like me) find the bushes. It's not easy to find your ball in the local scrub and this slows up play. Other times, social groups clog up the course and course staff never martial the course to keep up pace of play. Though the pro-shop staff aren't friendly or helpful, the grounds staff must be good. The course is always in beautiful shape. If it's not busy (or a weekend) it's a great course.
