Loved the greens. Fast, and yet for the most part receptive, as they held approach shots, save for those hit out of the rough (we all know it’s hard to get spin out of the rough and you’re gonna get the odd flyer). Some ridiculous undulations and level changes on the greens that require you to plan your approach shots carefully. But they read true and because they were fast they broke the way you read them. Made for some down right scary but absolutely fun putts, especially from above the hole. I had a couple of 90 degree breakers and it was great fun trying to pick the line and the speed. I gave four stars for course condition just because it was so dry - playing hard and fast- but I suppose that’s Links golf. Occasionally it would lead to table top bare lies in the middle of the fairway. I’ve played this course when it’s lush, wet and windy and the rough at those times can be really tough. So I guess it’s pick your poison. All in my foursome are ready to get back and play it hard and
