Formerly TPC Cancun, this course now called El Tinto unfortunately feels like a course that “was” instead of a course that “is”.
Excellent layout but too many greens bunkers or rough not well kept.
The scenery is immaculate and any course where there is no true other fairways to hit into is going to be difficult for the mid-high handicapper golfer that occasionally sprays.
Being positive, playing with no 1 in sight gives ample time for practice on course before you get to your #1 course

Fairways and greens in amazing condition!! Greens were not fast bunkers were perfect. Wide fairways and very player friendly. Definitely longer course, back tees are 7200-7400 whites @ 6400 with wind that is very challenging. Fun course.

Played this course in June and it was in great shape. Fairways were nice and easy to take a divot. Greens needed to be cut and rolled because they were super slow. Kind of feels like you’re playing in the middle of a jungle which was interesting. Course plays very long and missing the fairway can get very tricky. Some pretty impressively large bunkers that I got to experience playing out of quite a bit. They have a shuttle service that will pick you up from your hotel which was a big bonus.

I really like the play of the course. The day I played I was stuck behind a few beginner groups to slow the pace. Played well so that always helps, the greens were quite sandy as they looked to have been topped recently.
