Th greens are some of the worst I’ve ever played, most holes had a volcano effect around them. The greens are ridiculously slow and grainy, the speeds are also very inconsistent from hole to hole, I understand it’s early season but I’d at least expect the holes to be flat to the ground and not raised up

Played after a day of rain so greens were slow but very receptive. Not the hardest of courses, a lot of irons off the tee rather than the big clubs. I hired clubs and they were great, golf cart was excellent, really picturesque course with deer, chipmunks, squirrels and Canadian geese. Rivers were flowing hard.

Classic chick evans, for about $50 for 18 and cart not bad w the value. Not my favorite course in the area, I think IB is better and nicer for a few more bucks but there are a few very interesting and challenging holes at chick. Pretty short overall, don't need to hit driver on most holes, greens pretty slow, decent condition.

Solid value forest preserve course.
