Real decent course in Rock Island. Not too long, so that works with my game.

Great Course! Gets a lot of criticism from low handicap golfers because of the Par 66. However, this course is always in good condition and great for the beginner and average golfer to learn. It does have 7 Par 3s but don't let that fool you, 3 are over 175 yards, and 3 are over 200 yards.

Saukie is one of those courses that you enjoy regardless of your skill level. It’s shorter nature will push more experienced players to play differently than they are used to, otherwise they will be punished by the thick rough that guards the sides of the fairways. The greens can be some of the toughest shots I’ve seen for awhile depending on pin placement for the day (I’m looking at you hole 4) The staff are very well mannered and I often see them playing themselves, it’s great to see!
