Beautiful day in Coronado. 38 degrees at 6:30am tee time. Ended up in the 60’s by the back 9. Awesome course

Best value in San Diego. Always in great shape. After 35 years of playing here, I can't remember last time I saw a poor fairway, green or tee box. It's flat with spectacular views of San Diego Bay and Hotel Del. Teed off at 7am, finished by 11am. Be forewarned: pace is brutally slow mid morning through rest of day. 5 hour rounds are to be expected. Just enjoy the scenery, your company and being outdoors at one of the most beautiful spots in San Diego. Restaurant/bar currently undergoing renovations; temporary digs for a bite and chow on outdoor patio.
