Typical public course. Forgiving fairways, lots of crab grass clumps that will grab your club. For the price it’s worth it but don’t expect high green fee conditions. Greens were in good shape, some inconsiderate golfer divots left, green speeds varied quite a bit.

I really like Hansen Dam. Reminds me of a more interesting Balboa/Encino/Woodly Lakes type course. No water, pretty open fair ways. Greens are soft enough to hold. Hole 10 is a funny one. Very walkable course if you want to save on a cart. Greens are a little quicker than balboa/encino/woodly lakes but totally manageable. They have a great chipping area and two putting greens. For $40 bucks I think it’s a great deal. If you haven’t played it check it out.
