I was really disappointed in the condition of the course right now. Charging full price on top of it was tough to stomach, and is borderline unethical.
90% of the course, including fairways was dead and brown. It didn’t appear dormant, but crispy dead and bald spots, with gopher holes in the fairways and around the greens. Easily the worst condition of any course I have ever played in 25 years. So sad, because this can be a fun course to play.
I would have a tough time going back again.

Honestly, not worth the $66 it cost to ride 18.
A couple holes were completely sand on the fairway.
There was a green that putted like you were on cement because of lack of quality.
Save your time and mental energy and go play Morro Bay Golf Course instead.
Complete trash condition.
I asked the pro shop about it, and verbatim the guy behind the counter says, “it’s always like this”.
I used to work there, and I fully disagree and say that, “it has been in much much better shape previously”.

Bunkers could use some love. The fairways are a bit brown but still playable. But for $15 after 12? Can’t beat it

The course is in good shape, with a variety of holes (doglakes, risk/reward short Par 4s, different distance Par 3s). Topographically, there are a lot of blind shots and narrow fairways into the brush. Pace of play was quitr slow: additionally, we started >20 minutes past our tee time.
There is little to no wind on the course, as well as few strategically placed trees for shade, so afternoons are brutally hot. Overall, a nice county course.
