A beautiful layout with a wonderful combination of challenge and fairness. Lots of elevation changes and intimidating visuals but more than enough landing area if you trust your swing. Fairways were pretty good for end of the season and the greens were in great shape. Negatives were some beat up tee boxes, a serious lack of sand in most bunkers, and very slow play for a midweek round. Finally, one problem that’s not the fault of the golf course; it’s on us: FIX YOUR BALL MARKS ON THE GREEN!
A beautiful layout and a real challenge, but when you play a hole well, you feel like you’ve really accomplished something. Fairways and greens were in great shape (although a fair number of people need to have a lesson in repairing ball marks) and I would have given it five stars but the tee boxes were a little beaten up. Pace was slow but that’s to be expected the day after Thanksgiving. Overall it’s a quality course at a great value.
