Greens in great condition, and fast!
Fairways were i good condition
Rough was high in some places.
Compared to comparable courses, felt somewhat expensive.
Bottom line, I still recommend Silverado South course.
This place is all it is cracked up to be. Well manicured and pure just as you would expect. The course design has a resort feel, but a slight uptick due to hosting a PGA event. The only reason it fell short of 5 stars was due to excessive green speed and pin placement. Greens were probably a 14 on the stem. The pins were borderline illegal on some holes, forcing impossible putts. The saving grace… I played it in late July and was told they are getting it firmed out for the event. I’ll come back!
Great course but every friggin hole there was someone mowing and almost got 3 golf balls destroyed. Greens were also supersonic and were hard. Ground hard as rock so can’t get good pure contact.
Wonderful course that is full of challenging slope shots and fast greens. Has a old school country club feel with resort hospitality. 👍
