What a fun course. Other than the low lying area that retained water from the previous two days of rain, the course was in really good conditions. Cart path only day made for lots of walking. Green speeds were not very consistent but I guess I just need to improve my game to avoid long putts.

The greens are in excellent shape, but that’s about it. There’s so much ground under repair or otherwise in disrepair. Four or five holes car path only even though the course is not waterlogged. Definitely not the same track. I remember from 10 years ago. Average even for a public course. Definitely disappointing staying at the inn lol .

Good: greens are lush and flawless, very receptive to mid and long irons and that’s it. BAD: Overpriced, no water in the course coolers, bunkers are dirt.. Fairways are baked with a fungus that’s killing all the rye/fescue. They’re trying to introduce kikuyu grass but that’ll take a year or so to fill in. Where’s JC golf money at? They need it. NOT WORTH THE $100+ price tag!
