McInnis is the caddy shack of north bay golf courses. The dudes at the counter are very nice to everybody. The Young Marin high schoolers are respectful here in general as it’s not tucked way up in some rich area of mill valley or anything. The prices are awesome. The fairways are fine and never overly dry but can be wet sometimes in patches.
I’ve never been paired with people I didn’t like playing with here.
Definitely my favorite course around for the money

It's been wet, so it's a little sloppy today. Greens were very fast given that.

A Toptracer-equipped range with monitors for warm-up beforehand…not bad for a 9 in Marin County.

Best course for value. I mean $17, can’t beat that and the course is very well maintained. I’ve played at more expensive and had 4x worse conditions. Always paired with cool people when you play. Pace can get slow if you have kids in front.

Never had an employee of any establishment, let alone a golf course, be so vulgar and out of line while playing on the course in front of us. If you go out, pray you don’t run into Vanessa!

Went for a casual round with two 1st time golfers and ending up being berated off of the course by the group of 4 women in front of us (1 of which worked at the course)
Their pace of play was awful with a golf cart 🤡
They kicked and screamed at us after a miss hit tee shot from one of our beginners - FORE WAS SAID LOUD AND CLEAR! Ball came no where close to any of them.
The group proceeded to use their connections to the clubhouse and have us kicked off of the course.
Blasphemous! Immature! Disgrace to the game of golf!
… need I say more!
🚨IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY A ROUND OF GOLF, DONT PLAY HERE🚨
At the end of the day, at a course like mcginnis you really don’t expect much… but don’t expect an employee of the course itself to power trip while also using derogatory language towards kids who were trying to learn the great game! ENOUGH SAID!
