Alister MacKenzie’s favorite course of all the ones he designed, for good reason. Really fun, but incredibly challenging. Mistakes can be brutal, but good shots are very rewarding. I played during a drought and the course wasn’t in as good of a condition as I expected, so I felt a little ripped off because it’s pretty damn pricy. I’ve heard it’s usually in way better shape. Still recommend this course, especially for golfers who love course architecture and golf history.
