Cart paths need work, but phenomenal environment and absolutely stunning course!

Greens were fast given we started at 6:38am — nonetheless they ran all day. Great course, they had just mowed the rough so I was able to find my ball nearly every single time. I’ll be coming back

I would describe the chardonnay golf course as the most picturesque course I've played. Of course there are areas for improvement, most notably the sand traps are like hard pan and the range balls are pathetic. In the end though, what you will remember is a lush course seemingly carved into a vineyard. There are also a few tree lined creeks and ponds to explore as you travel from one hole to the next. I strongly recommend the Chardonnay golf course, and i look forward to returning again soon.
Course was wet from rain all day Friday, but that really only affected roll out on tee shots. It also meant the range was closed. I did lose a ball in the middle of 18 fairway because it plugged somewhere. Oh, and the traps were all packed down. The one trap I landed in, I just putted out. The greens had my number. Heavy grain had me doubting my reads and seeing things that weren’t there. It just makes me want to come back and try again. Great time, great course, beautiful weather. Thanks
