Obviously this is an iconic course, but it really is just too hard for the average golfer. The rough on every hole is just absolutely ridiculous. It’s stupid that they don’t cut down the rough after the tournament is over. If you don’t hit a precise drive in the fairway on every hole there is a 75% chance that even if you saw exactly where your drive went you will just never find the ball. Even when standing right near your ball in the rough it’s almost impossible to see it. So expect to lose plenty of balls, even with great drives that just miss the fairway by a little.
