Course was awesome, but the starter was a jerk. Seems he needed to admonish folks as if that would make anything better. Golf course staff (starter / rangers) need training in hospitality and customer service FOR ALL. The food and beverage staff in the Cafe are awesome, and they made up for the awful starter. The food was excellent.

Don’t even think about going to TPC Harding Park unless you want to overpay for uncut greens. PRESIDIO is the best public course. Great layout. Every hole is shaped uniquely and the greens roll true.

Gorgeous and challenging course with quick greens. Very well maintained for a public muni, and good value to boot. Highly recommended, but will be tough for beginning players!

A challenging course that features many uneven lies that will challenge your ball striking and distance control, especially when the ocean breeze makes it way inland. Greens can be difficult at times since they are poa annua. Be ready for all weather conditions at it can change quickly. The price can be a bit steep for out of towners, but still worth playing for the experience. Practice greens and range (mats only) leave much to be desired. However the staff are friendly and accommodating. Worth checking out the cafe for a bite before or after a round. Recommend the wings as they are smoked on site.
