Course is in great shape but customer service in the pro shop is just not there. We booked two tee times, one was deleted by their system and there was no sympathetic response from the staff whatsoever. I had to personally convince a 2some to pair up with another 2some so my group could play. Ridiculous. One of my fav courses but that was a bummer. And they just raised rates.

I’ve played several different RTJ courses across the US and they e always been in phenomenal shape… this one was not. Greens were in decent shape, quick, and green side bunkers had great sand. Fairways were pretty hard, a lot of bare spots, fairway bunkers were a mix of sand and gravel. Tee boxes were a mixed bag. Worst of all was the pace of play. Believe every negative comment about pace bc it’s very very true. Shop and grill were very basic and forgettable.

Good track, pretty good conditions and the greens ran true and nice. Fun layout!

Shot my best round here so, yeah, kind of like it! Very good value for what you spend. Worth the drive to Murrieta if you are in San Diego or OC.

Great course, a few challenging holes…fairways in good shape, turf on the greens is long and spongy and needed cutting, but I think they are leaving it long because of the heat (106°)… had a plugged ball on the 18th green because the greens were so wet (again because of the heat)….but overall great round. Like the elevation changes here and mix of doglegs/wide/narrow fairways. Burger was great at the clubhouse too!
