It’s hole 12, I step up to the tee box. Lightning and thunder start in the sky. I call the number for the course and someone answers to say “Come in and we’ll see you when you get here”
I leave hole 12 (before I tee off, I mean, lightning you guys.) at the speed of which a 30% charged electric cart can go. And, as I lose my commemorative ball marker taking a corner, I come up to the pro shop. Which, is locked up tighter than a drum.
It’s me and the cleaning lady that’s it.
No one to help, No one to say anything.
Every single door is open except for the pro shop. Those guys are locked up tighter than a drum.
I scream “Hello” across the neighborhood and my voice literally echoes across the tops of houses.
I’m soaking wet, park their golf cart (#35) in the actual cart garage...
Not a single person replies to my screams. Not a single one.
I really wanted to be able to finish a round here.
Unfortunately, the ENTIRE STAFF was gone. AFTER they answered the phone telling me to come back.

Nice course. They do a few things different. They have lots of staked out areas as “wild grasses “ and you’re not allowed to even retrieve your ball if it’s a few feet in. I was fine with that until I saw them mowing the “wild grasses” area. You can’t make that up. The other issue is they’re a little obsessive about pairing you up in carts if your a single or threesome. Again, wouldn’t be an issue if I thought they were trying to cut back in wear and tear but we had a group of members in front of and behind us and they had 4 carts for each group.
