For a January in DFW TX, course was in solid shape. Green speeds seemed a little inconsistent on the front 9. Groups in front of us were just slow enough to bother me.
Layout is a cool concept and done well. Challenging for sure.

Sad to see such a great concept and course layout be ruined by the awful conditions. Fairways are completely rock hard dirt. No grass to be seen. The tee boxes are green at least but also in terrible shape, completely uneven and you could barely get a tee to stand up and hold a ball. I had to retee at least a dozen times because the tee would just fall over because of the obvious overuse and not being taken care of in a very long time. The greens were the only thing that were in decent shape.

Awful playing conditions. Not worth the money. There is no grass in the fairways. None. What organic material may be there is dead. Greens and bunkers were what I would expect for the price point. Staff was helpful and friendly. Sad to see such great potential being in such poor condition. Especially when you can’t get a tee time at other nearby courses. For less than half the cost you can play Grapevine, Bear Creek and Bridlewood all of which are abundantly green.

Other than greens, they clearly do not believe in watering the course. I’ve played here a dozen times over a dozen years and this is the worst I’ve seen it by far. Sad to be quite honest, fairways and greens use to have grass, now they’re pretty dead. For $125 per person, you can keep the one free sandwich at the turn and put the cost of mine towards a gallon of water please!
