Has potential. Greens are hairy and slow. Hard to say they would be better if they were cut. Overall, the course needs major TLC. $76 for 18 is overvalued for what it is. Until they bring the quality up to justify the $76, or bring the price down to meet the quality, I won’t be actively seeking to play here.
First time I’ve played this course after living 15 minutes away for a decade and it confirmed why I make the drive to Moody.

I will admit that my round started poorly when I learned that Timber Creek would no longer honor their frequent player card even though there is no expiration date in it. They explained that they have a new system and they have had a sign up ‘for two months’ stating that they would no longer honor the old system as of July 1. Well, if the greens had not been in such terrible earlier in the year, I would have been playing here. The greens are still not up to par, considering the price you play (fairways are nice though). Then 14 holes in, our golf carts died, both of them. Again, not the most terrible thing that has ever happened but after the greeting, less than decent greens and price….not very satisfied today.
