First time palying Eagle Pointe, and I was really looking forward to my round based in all the good things I've heard about it from other golfers. Unfortunately, the course didn't live up to the hype. The layout was nice and I liked the moderate elevation changes, however, the single most important factor to me enjoying and round of golf are the greens! The greens, except for maybe 3 holes, were in bad shape. From some spots, unplayable! When I tried to fix my ball marks, the "grass" crumbled as my divot tool pushed the turf. This shows that the grass was very thin, thus all the bald spots. The one good thing I can say is that I've played the course, but I won't be coming back! I'd rather give my money to Timber Creek.
