Years ago my friends and I thought of this course as the high dollar best around course. Then it went downhill. Bad. Luckily, recently, the course has improved a lot. No more dry patches on greens. Fairways well kept. Roughs are decent. Some tee boxes are hard and dry. Not too bad though. Worst part is the same as a lot of courses; dry packed bunkers. Some rock hard. Some are just soft enough to be playable. Stay out of the bunkers and it’s a good course for the money.

Greens are in terrible shape.

This course is honestly awful. The greens are full of sand, and some of the holes are flooded. Bunkers were full of water, and we haven’t had solid rain in weeks. The marshals are always complaining about pace of play, and that they seem to only be the one with the issue. The owner has an attitude when we tried to explain we have been waiting for groups in front of us but we are threatened to be kicked out. Save your money and just go play at Atascosita golf course. It’s better overall by a mile

Used to be a lot better. Greens are covered with crabgrass and dead spots. A lot of hard pan. Fairways aren’t cut as short as they should and bunkers are horrendous. Range is always mats only even though there’s a section to the right where they could switch back and forth to keep grass up. No chipping green amf no practice bunker, no water on the course. Only good things about this place is location, staff behind the counter.
