Good service at the Pro shop. Good course overall. We didn't see a beverage/service cart so the only place we were able to buy a drink was at th pro shop. One con was ther the course marshall told us 2-3 times to increase our pace of play. When we asked why since there was no one behind us or stopping anyone behind us, he said it was because we were going at 4:30-5hr pace and they needed the carts because they were short on then. That was a bit ridiculous IMHO 🤷🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️.

loved southern oaks. open and wide fairways on a few..some had challenging sand bunkers/water hazards but overall, a fun and challenging course!

Fun course in decent shape, some bad spots around the edges of the greens and in some fairways but overall pretty good!

The greens had heavy sand spots, but were mostly playable. Great course for a good price.

The course and layout is beautiful and long, greens are under going some repair, so they were slow and somewhat bumpy.

This course is in shambles. Greens all have dead spots on them. Not one green is decent. Fairways are ok but for $78 on a weekend, massive ripoff.

They aerified greens a couple weeks back, so depending on what part of the green you find yourself on you could have a smooth road or a sandy one. It’s 50/50, the rest of the course is generally in good shape and for the price, it’s the best 18 holes you’ll find in this area. Great facilities and staff, top tracer is great for warming up. Pace of play varies by the day, but generally good. I’ve finished anywhere between 3:45-6 hours so it’s a toss up

One of my favorite course. Condition is playable but below its historic condition level. Carts are too often throttled in unmarked areas slowing pace. Still ill be back regularly
