Martinsville is a fantastic test of golf from start to finish. The front nine is a true shot shaper’s course with a classic old-school feel where placement is everything. Every hole makes you think your way around the course instead of just swinging away. The back nine opens up more with larger greens, it’s just as difficult in a different way. The course does a great job of rewarding patience and smart play.

Definitely not worth the price, course is in terrible condition, also pretty difficult considering it’s rated under par

Beautiful layout but course conditions are very poor . Course needs an infusion of money to bring it back to former glory.
