Course can get clogged up but a perfect starter course for new golfers or first 18 of the year. It is relatively flat, very open with some trees. Little OB to deal with.

Staff was very friendly. Course was in great condition. The price fits this course, well worth it!!! Just like any other course, as long as you hit fairways you will be good. No real trouble to get into unless you hit next to the base of a tree. Greens had really good speed, putting can make or break your score. Overall great course for beginners or any avid golfer just looking for a little fun in the sun. I recommend playing this course, as I will definitely be playing it again!!

Your generic public course, early mornings aren’t bad but once high school kids get out in the afternoon it’s a little slow and hectic.

Seriously just showed up to Rea Park (by myself) at 2:50p and was told I can't get 18 holes in and was turned away. So many times this year that courses have done this. This one much more than others. You're a mid level city course, no dress code, short yardage and hardly challenging. You're not a country club so get rid of the country club attitude and start being respectful to the members of the community that want to visit your course. Highly disappointed.
When I do get to play there, the course is well kept. The carts sometimes get weak by the last few holes. The gentlemen in the front office are usually rude to most of the guys that play in our group. Staffing attitude is probably what keeps this course from being one that I prefer to play. I'd rather play a course that cost twice as much with staff that treats you with respect.
