Was a fun and challenging course with the desert islands and heavy brush and cactus surrounding the course. Lots of hills and undulations. Only thing I was surprised at was that we were fighting the grounds crew on every single hole… it was like they were trying to get ready for peak Fall season or something… the rented clubs were a bit pricey but a nice set. The price seemed a bit high for current conditions. But overall a very fun course to play!
Very challenging course if you’re not on your game, but quite the same even if you are. The starter told me the back 9 played 6 to 7 shots tougher, though I did not really think it did. Both front and back played pretty equal in my opinion. Fairways are narrower than you might expect, but I didn’t care; just used my driver on all but the par 3s, and worked out fine. You just need to drive relatively straight, ALL of the time. I took penalty strokes on 4 holes as well losing my ball! Fun!!!
