My first Scottsdale golf experience and this course delivered. The updated GPS system was a great touch, but the real highlight was an exceptional starter who got us out early and paired me with some fun guys from Miami. Played from the whites and had a blast. The front nine looks simple, but those short par 4s tempt you to go for glory. Took my shot on hole 4 and nearly drove the green. Fast greens and solid conditions despite Arizona’s drought.
Great track from 7.000
Tighter than it looks on a few key holes. Par 6’s very gettable. Tons of opportunity to hit iron or hybrid. Greens roll like concrete, but not in a bad way. Breaks are very sharp and deceiving. A few “monster greens” that are hundreds of feet wide and deep with multiple undulation stacks scattered. Chip to fringe and let release.
Beautiful mountain view and nicely maintained course
Great course to play. Not super crowded and a great course for really any level of play. If you shank one though and lose your ball you will legitimately never find it.
