I’m a 16 handicap and played $50 on a Hot Deal. I was paired with a 84 year old man who played from the senior tees (he hit em dead straight 🔥🔥🔥), and 2 guys who are on the Pro Am (7-11 handicaps). The course was in amazing condition since seeding was a couple months ago. The pace of play was really good considering the course was packed with foursomes. We had to wait tee maybe 4 times for about 30 seconds to 1 minute each time, but we finished the round in 3:51, so there that.
The course was beautifully maintained and you had a perfect lie every time you hit the fairway. Greens were fast and true. The sand in the traps was nice and raked.
Honestly, for around $100 per round — I have zero complaints. It’s a fun course with a nice mix of holes with plenty of scoring opportunities. Plus, you get some great views!
We will definitely be trying the other 18 at talking stick sometime in the near future
I love the Pipaash course. It offers a more traditional golf style with clever bunker positions and elevated greens. Great mix of long and short par 3 & 4’s. Great for intermediate golfs who want a challenge.
The O’odham course is a desert style course with long fairways and no rough.
Greens are quick and challenging.
Bunkers are placed in tough positions, so hitting fairways is crucial.
