Overall: Could use some tlc. Would be a 5 star course worthy of membership and full price fees. Even just a true fairway would do it, but as of now, there are more weeds and empty patches than grass down the center. Not fun sending it center of the fairway only to find a muddy ball between patches of weeds. Makes it tough spend full price (even though I live in the neighborhood). Would do well to find a discounted rate.
Course: Houses close by on a few fairways makes things interesting. Bunkers placed strategically, especially by the greens. A few holes with lots of room to miss, so swing away on those. A few holes with trees in the way that you may have missed on the tee. Overall a challenging course but easy enough if you can keep it straight (and happen to land on some grass).
Staff: very friendly staff. You can tell they work hard to make the place work.
Practice: nice putting and chipping green. Range…has a place to swing. A few flagsticks but hard to see where your ball land

They are pouring Capital investments into this course. All new concrete cart paths on the front 9 just a few days ago.

Seminole County bought this course a few months ago and I already see investments and improvemts.

Fairways are a mixture of crab grass and sand with few decent patches of ground mixed in. Tee boxes are atrocious. Would be better if they just put in hitting mats. Greens are terrible. If you aren’t putting through people’s ball marks, you are going through more crab grass or just bare dirt. Not worth the $48 they are charging. Driving range is also terrible. Balls are so worn out that they change direction during flight multiple times. The hitting surface is more dirt then grass. Again, would be better to install hitting mats here. Probably the worst course I’ve played here in Florida.
