Played front side on 3 previously occasions and course and staff were great. But Saturday afternoon, 11 April 2020 was a complete reversal. When I attempted to check-in with my 11 year old granddaughter for a full round, the on duty manager was unprofessional. When informed my granddaughter could not ride in my cart and had to instead walk I inquired if this applied to family members as I had observed other family members sharing carts on Thursday afternoon. Instead of explaining the policy change and offering a solution such as a pull cart for her or both of us the manager responded with a terse “I’m not going to argue with you”. So I cancelled our tee time. Rocky Bayou Country Club’s website states “From beginner to scratch golfer, junior player to senior master, an exceptional day on the course is waiting for you ...” Unfortunately they missed the mark Saturday afternoon.
