La Cita Country Club is in terrible shape. The fairways are mostly sand with barely any grass. One tee box had a sinkhole nearby—completely unmarked and unsafe. The greens are a mess: sandy, weedy, and impossible to putt on. It's clear this course has been neglected for a long time. Until major maintenance is done, avoid wasting your time and money here. There are far better options in the area that actually take care of their grounds.

Truly a baffling sight when the parking lot boasts more lush, thriving grass than the actual fairways and greens. Every inch of this course screams neglect and a profound lack of care. The fairways are less a manicured stretch of green and more a patchwork of weeds, bare earth, and forgotten dreams. 60 year old clubhouse that hasn’t been renovated since it opened. La Cita Golf Course isn't just unkept; it feels deliberately abandoned.

Don’t bother going till they make repairs. Still charging full price and you can’t use the tee boxes and half the greens are sandy
