Patchy greens, wet from rain the day prior, and crowded during high season. 3 hours for 11 holes, had to leave early.

I used to play at Del Ray Beach Golf, and found this gem one day. They offer a veterans discount and the course is slightly more difficult than Del Ray. This course actually improved my game. It’s a fun course and great for beginners. I’ve been playing weekly, for about 2 months. I also play twilight so the price is very manageable because I want to play as much as possible, albeit, at a comfortable price. In all, great course for beginners, just have extra balls cause you’re gonna lose em.

I played here on a Friday afternoon during October as a solo and finished in two hours. For $16 you get what you pay for, but if you need a quick golf fix and don’t care about conditions, it’s not the worst course in the area. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. This would be a great place for a beginner to play a full 18 for the first time or to go have a fun beer round with the boys, but you will want to look elsewhere if you are looking for anything even remotely resembling a quality course. The greens were like putting on a carpet but were very receptive to approach shots. All in all, I would only play here again if there’s nowhere else to play or if I just need to get out quick in a pinch. I wish this place all the best, with some more resources it could be touched up and be in better shape because it actually was a pretty fun layout despite the course conditions.
