Good course with a great deal of complexity to test golfing skill given placement of sand and water as well as tight fast greens.

2nd round of RTJ in 3-days and this was one helluva fun way to end it!! Not overly challenging until you get to the greens. Plenty of undulation and today felt like Sunday pin placement. Definitely will return!!

The River is the less played of the two courses. The greens are usually faster than the Highlands. If you're on the wrong tier, a 3 putt might be in your future.

Granted it’s been a very rainy season and they keep their power boxes elevated because the river floods, but man. Unfortunately completely dormant fairways and rough, smashed down like a desert from rain and no maintenance. Greens and tee boxes however, fantastic and not a problem. This course just having a tough time living up to the RTJ standard. The Highlands course here though, is definitely worth visiting year round. Green fairways all year.
