Even though I’m a member at a different golf course, I have enjoyed playing at Ol’ Colony for over 14 years and my kids grew up in the First Tee of Tuscaloosa program. Very polite clubhouse staff however I had one bad experience with a Marshall. After hitting 2 baskets of balls on the range, I decided to hit some pitch shots from the OUT OF BOUND rough (not the tee box or fairway) and some putting on the First Tee par3 course. An OFF DUTY Marshall drives his cart w/ clubs up to me and said you are not allowed on his course. I explained to him that I’m only hitting from the outside rough of the course to the putting greens. He was very rude, loud, and tried to over talk me on the course. However, on several occasions over the years while sitting down near the First Tee facility, this SAME Marshall while ON DUTY have driven pass white adult males and didn’t say anything to them but waved his hand and kept going.
