The only thing about this course that isn’t perfect, is the conditions the elk leave the course in, when they’re done. However, they’re gorgeous and every time I’ve played this course I’ve been blessed to see the heard out and about. Favorite course in N. CO.
Very nice course, great views, overall in good shape but the greens were punched about 5 days beforehand so putting was difficult. Rained on the first hole out and the group two ahead of us must have stopped playing, so that backed everything up, almost 5 hr round. I always enjoy playing Mariana Butte. Some cool holes with elevation change and other interesting challenges, good chances to score on some holes.
