Nob is in great shape right now. Greens are fast and roll true. I guess every public course is this way, but I fix 2-5 ball marks per hole because of slobs that can’t fix one. Weekends are a little pricey for the area but it is consistently the best maintained public course around this area.
Green conditions could’ve been better, everywhere else pretty good.
Lots of sharp dog legs and blind landing spots if you have never played there before.
The course was in great condition, I found the green speed to be a little slow, but they rolled very true. I also found the course somewhat difficult, because I don't hit the ball very long, it was hard to get in to position to hit greens. There always seemed to be bunkers that I couldn't carry. The pace of play was very bad, we got behind a very slow group, which can happen anywhere you play, but it added almost an hour to our time.
I hated this course the first time played here ( cause it’s fairly difficult) but more and more I’ve come to love it. Very beautiful course! And always well maintained!
