Great cheap course, greens are not consistent

Great course for a municipal. Excellent value. The greens are a little patchy in some areas due to re-sodding but play fairly fast and smooth. Some fairways are a little thin on grass but are overall in excellent condition. The course is very walkable and has a good, fast pace. It took me about an hour and a half to play through while walking. Lots of variation in height adds to the challenge, especially in club selection.

Played this course once a week since May ‘20. Played today (Sat of Labor Day weekend) and the course is in the best shape it’s been all summer. Every single green is in good-great condition (even the 3rd hole!) Fairways are fantastic. And they have new carts now! With USB ports and coolers. Best bang for your buck in the city. Great staff. And great BBQ out front on Saturday’s. Can’t beat the experience.
