Often overlooked 3rd course of the Sea Island courses. Sea Side and Plantation get the most attention, but the Retreat is a great course in its own right. The fairways are generous, but can still punish you if you are to wayward. Bunkers are in great shape and the greens are not too fast, but certainly not slow. The greens also roll true and do not have some of the tricky aspects that the other courses have. Give the Retreat a try and you will be happy that you did.
