Paul Walker is a challenging course to review as one’s experience can vary wildly based on the day you play. I have played this course dozens of times in all seasons. In the summer the course very crowded and the pace of play is slow, especially when making the turn. Going from the 9th green to the 10th/ 1st tee for your second time around expect to wait on multiple groups to tee of in front of you. ( this could have been due to the closure of Hobson Grove last summer, another 9 hole public course in Bowling Green). This course has since reopened, it has yet to be seen how this will affect pace of play at PW.
As far as the actual golfing experience, PW is an easy course that rewards good tee shots very well. Also every hole presents a birdie opportunity. A driver is not needed on several holes to be put into good positions to attack the green. The greens are very small, so good approach shots can produce tricky chips on to sloping greens.
Fun course, leaves many things to be desired.
