The value of this course is its only admiral quality. Greens are awful however many scoring opportunities can be taken advantage of. This course is very short, a driver is not needed. The redesign of the course in the fall of 2019 makes the course slightly better. The course lacks true fairways, as the grass is just cut slightly lower, consider playing with preferred lies in the “fairway.” Because the course is so short I would recommend playing and iron off the tee to leave your self with a preferred distance into the green for your game. The greens are bumpy and covered in sand (especially hole 8). This could be due to the remodel. Pace of play can be slow at times as it is not uncommon to run into a group of players that lack basic golf etiquette.
All of bad things about Riverview are overshadowed by the value of the course. This value encourages growth of our lovely game, that I fully support.
