The main issue I’ve seen many people share is the conflict between the average players & the regular senior group. The seniors hold scrambles at Western Hills every week & they don’t always seem to be patient or courteous to other players. And I know for a fact via personal experience & have heard multiple times from others they have been aggressive with their shot placement if they are playing behind you & you aren’t playing as fast as them.

Although the fee is reasonable for the course especially if you use golf now, the speed of play is astronomically slow, the carts are severely speed restricted, the course looks good but the grass is always over grown so your ball is easily lost in the fairway and it will grab your club on every swing, massive undulating hills and greens that are lightning and always sloped. The course is tough.

Love the layout and design. They had recently aerated greens so they were slow and bumpy. Will definitely go back and try it another day.

Tee boxes and fairways we not good. Extremely patchy and alot of dead and dirt spots. Greens we ok, had been recently punched.

Many old people have priority here and take their sweet time, cut in line, or do whatever they want. Staff is a hit or miss, depending on what kinda day they are having. Sometimes they are nice, other times, not so much and you feel as if you are a burden to them. The course is decent, but I've played many courses, and this is not near the top for sure. They are trying to make improvements. The friendliest people are the ones who actually work to try and take care of the course.
