Grass was tall enough that it was hard to find your ball in the fairway much less the rough.

Course was great, greens just got punched so they were playing a little rough, but the group in front of us played so slow the round took 5 1/2 hours

First time playing and I’m pretty new but the tee boxes and fairways were pretty high. Tee time was 5:50 and they said we basically couldn’t play full 18. Im happy to go again but probably earlier in the day. Golf is still golf and I wasn’t at work so we had a good time. $26 in town is a gimme.

Had an interesting morning at Tate’s Creek. Showed up to my 7:50 tee time to be told it’s walking only due to last night’s rain. While in the parking lot working to get another tee time at a different course (I am not walking), the pro came out and said “We are gonna let carts out”. It was 8:20 at this point, 30 minutes after my tee time. We got to play but were now stuck behind 2 groups of walkers. Ended up taking 4 and 1/2 which is okay I guess for it being crowded. 7.5/10 experience overall

Rough spot. Booked a tee time a week in advance, get there the day of and we are told it’s “walking only.” No one from the course called in advance. Blew the whole day up. Not to mention it’s a goat ranch—but hey for 25ish dollars I’ll play anything.
