I’ve seen golfers putt off the green at this course more than most others. If you’re above the hole the first putt often comes up way short. Then a slow second putt gathers speed so much it rolls off the green by 5-20 yards. Diabolical! Also if you want food after the round be aware they close the kitchen a few hours before they close the clubhouse. Very disappointing not to be able to get a sandwich at 4pm.
I've been playing Rattlewood for many years and it has been a consistently good course. Conditions are always good and it's just the right difficulty level for low and high handicap players. It is a public course, so pace is sometimes a little slower, but not too bad. I will say that the cost per round had gone way up.
