Holden hills is a pretty good course, the carts run well, the players retreat is decent and it’s not too hard to find times where the pace of play is very good. As the name would suggest this course is extremely hilly, the fairways are thin and the roughs are thick, lots of tight fairways. The trees are the main hazard to worry about, I almost never find myself in a bunker or water.

Great value for a late may round on a Sunday evening @5pm for $40 for 18&cart. I haven’t been playing for long so this was a tricky course at times with tight alleys, considerable elevation changes towards the tees, and some nice water hazards. Some dead areas of grass and a green or two that was a little beat up, but otherwise was an amazingly well kept/maintained course from tee boxes, fairways, to greens. The rough was pretty long too, which was a welcomed challenge to some of the other places I play.
Played as a solo and was allowed to play through a couple groups so pace of play is something I can’t really comment on.
