This is a decent value course. The fact they advertise for awards back in early 2000s should tell you all you need to know. The new clubhouse looks nice but the bar wont be open until early May. Tee boxes could be better, fairways, rough, and greens are in good condition. BUT the bunkers are absolutely terrible. On hole 10, I had 2 bunker shots, both unearthed a 3” rock on each shot in the SAME bunker. Clearly they don’t filter any sand. Decent value course, but is difficult because their is no forgiveness with how much valleys, woods, and water there are.
