Golden Eagle is a wonderful romp through the north woods. The course has plenty of challenging and picturesque holes, and it's a lot of fun to play with it's five par 5's and mix of great par 3s and risk/reward par 4s. The course is in great shape with wonderfully smooth and fast greens. The only complaint is a golfer, not a course issue - golf can be hard playing off the numerous side hill lies you can find yourself on!

Beautiful vistas, friendly and helpful staff, and fun layout. Not good for walking, since there are huge hills between holes. Greens were a little slow for my liking though and beetles were rough on some holes. They would swarm at times. Overall though, fantastic course.
