A beautiful course but over-rated, definitely not worth the $330 price, non-resident weekday. The course designer was either forced by necessity or inspired by Loyal Chapman’s fantasy golf prints to cut a course out of impossible terrain. It is a gimmicky course. If planning to play this course, call, make sure all wear-and-tear maintenance work is finished. On the day we played, putting/chipping/sand practice area and a handful of tee boxes were under construction.

5+ hour round. Tee times too close together for course difficulty

. Poor customer service and pace of play issues. We had a group of 5 that we split into a twosome first and threesome second. There was a threesome ahead of our group and a twosome behind our group. At hole 4 our entire group caught up to each other while waiting for the threesome ahead of us. We decided to join up which made for a perfect pace of play. We were always teeing off while the group ahead was on the green. The twosome behind played very leisurely and we stayed two holes ahead of them the entire time. We got a warning from the ranger at the 7th hole and told to split up. He didn’t care that we were playing faster than the course’s preferred pace as well as keeping up with the group ahead. At the 9th hole we were met by the starter who threatened to have us kicked off the course if we weren’t compliant. We obliged and split into our original twosome-threesome at the 10th hole. The twosome in our group waited for the threesome ahead at every hole. Added 50 min of waiting time
